You have chosen to meet with Lydia Koch. Lydia joined Cornerstone clinic in 2018 after completing a Bachelor of Psychology degree with a major in Crisis Counseling from Liberty University in 2015 and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Liberty University in 2018. She is in the process of accruing hours towards licensure. Lydia cannot accept insurance at this time, but clients will be billed at a reduced rate.
Lydia is a military veteran, wife of a retired Army veteran, and the mother of three: two sons who are Air Force veterans and one daughter who is a college graduate. She and her family moved to Alaska after her husband retired from the Army 9 years ago. Through her life experiences, she has an in-depth understanding of anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and post-traumatic stress related disorders.
Lydia sees individuals age 12 and up, adolescents and their parents, marital, and families experiencing depression, anxiety, anger, compulsions, past childhood abuse, sexual abuse, and transitional life events. Lydia considers your unique spiritual, emotional, physical, and social dimensions using elements of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
